Prices

Duties & Taxes

Our goal is to deliver all parcels on a Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) basis, where feasible. This means we aim to handle any import duties and additional clearance charges for you. Nevertheless, the parcel recipient might need to assist with customs clearance. In such instances, either our courier service or the local customs office will directly contact the recipient to facilitate this process. Any expenses incurred beyond standard import duty clearance, imposed by local customs or tax authorities, are the responsibility of the recipient.

For shipments to Delivery Duty Unpaid (DDU) destinations, please be aware that your order may attract additional customs fees upon arrival in the destination country. These duties and taxes are not pre-paid by us, and you may have to hire a personal customs broker to manage customs clearance for your items.

Purchase of Products

When you place an order on ALTANZ.COM, you’re proposing to enter into a sales agreement with us. After you order online, via phone, or email, you’ll receive an email acknowledging we’ve received your order. This acknowledgment does not mean your order is accepted. Acceptance of your order occurs when we send you an email confirming the dispatch of your order. This agreement is exclusive to you, and you may not transfer any obligations under it without our explicit written consent.

It’s essential to provide accurate billing address details when ordering. Failure to do so might lead your payment to be flagged by our payment security system, which could delay or cancel your order.

By ordering, you confirm you’re legally able to enter binding contracts and are at least 13 years old.

Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, you can cancel your order within 14 days of delivery. If you cancel, you must return the product to us in its original condition and packaging at your expense, unless otherwise indicated. Delivery & Shipping Limitations

When you place an order, it will be shipped to the delivery address you provided, unless you request a change before we dispatch it. If there’s an error or omission in the address you’ve given us, please contact us immediately. We cannot be held responsible for deliveries made to incorrect addresses if they were provided by you.

Please note that all deliveries require a signature upon receipt. Consequently, we are unable to ship orders to PO Box addresses.

Estimated delivery times for various global locations are available on our website. These estimates are based on typical shipping durations but actual delivery times may vary due to factors such as the destination’s remoteness, customs processing times, and other logistical considerations.

While we strive to ensure timely delivery, there may occasionally be delays caused by factors outside ALTANZ.COM’s control. In the event of such delays, we are committed to delivering your order as soon as possible, but we cannot be liable for any losses that may occur due to these delays.

Delivery Loss or Damage

This includes providing necessary documentation for customs clearance. For shipments to China, the receiver must appoint a customs broker. DHL EXPRESS NETWORK TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF CARRIAGE AND CUSTOMS OPERATIONS (“T&C”)

These T&C apply to services provided by DHL Express in the delivery of Express Shipments for personal use.

Definitions:

• Express Carrier: Within the Russian Federation, DHL Express is represented by DHL International AO and DHL Express OOO. They, along with third parties, deliver Express Shipments internationally and handle customs for these shipments.

• Customs Broker: DHL Express OOO acts on behalf of the customs applicant and other interested parties for customs operations, adhering to Customs Union laws.

• Express Shipment: Goods transported in express mode by any transportation means, tracked via www.dhl.ru, and delivered to the Consignee with a specific waybill within a predetermined or shortest possible time.

• Shipper: A legal entity, typically an online store, that entrusts Express Shipments to the Express Carrier.

• Consignee: An individual receiving the Express Shipment, as identified on the DHL Express waybill.

T&C Subject Matter:

1. Offer and Agreement: These T&C constitute a public offer, forming a consensual Delivery and Customs Operations Agreement between the Shipper/Consignee, Express Carrier, and Customs Broker.

2. Acceptance: By confirming acceptance on the Shipper’s website, the Consignee agrees on behalf of themselves and other parties to these T&C.

3. Requirements: The Express Carrier and Customs Broker can request necessary documents for delivery and customs, ensuring compliance with Russian legislation. Confidentiality of obtained information is paramount.

DHL Express Network Carriage Terms:

1. Delivery: Shipments cannot be delivered to PO boxes or postal codes, and delivery to a central receiving area is deemed delivered to the Consignee.

2. Inspection: DHL reserves the right to inspect shipments for safety, security, or regulatory reasons.

3. Liability: Liability is limited by international conventions or, in their absence, to specified per kilogram limits. For road transport within borders, the CMR convention limits apply.

4. Claims and Delays: Claims must be made within 30 days. DHL is not liable for indirect losses or delivery delays, except under specific Money Back Guarantee conditions.

5. Circumstances Beyond Control: DHL is not responsible for losses due to uncontrollable factors like natural disasters, war, or customs actions.

6. Routing: Shipper agrees to any routing decisions made by DHL, including possible stops.

Customs Operations Terms & Conditions:

1. Customs Broker Responsibilities: Include customs declaration and informing the Consignee about shipment arrivals at temporary storage facilities.

2. Consignee Responsibilities: Providing accurate details and documents for customs declaration within specified timelines.

3. Liability: The Consignee is liable for penalties due to inaccurate or incomplete information. The Customs Broker is not liable for consequential losses.

4. Force Majeure: Parties are not liable for non-performance due to unforeseeable circumstances beyond their control.

Fees and Payment:

1. Service Fees: Determined by the Customs Broker’s rates and include customs fees incurred.

2. Payment: The Consignee is responsible for payment of customs operations services.

3. Goods Withholding: The Customs Broker may withhold goods until full payment for services is received.

General Provisions:

Changes to the T&C or Agreement apply based on the version effective at the time of the Consignee’s acceptance as specified in the Agreement acceptance clause.
