Duties & Taxes

Our goal is to deliver all parcels on a Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) basis, where feasible. This means we aim to handle any import duties and additional clearance charges for you. However, the recipient may need to assist with customs clearance. In such cases, either our courier service or the local customs office will contact the recipient directly to facilitate the process. Any expenses beyond standard import duty clearance, imposed by local customs or tax authorities, are the responsibility of the recipient.

For shipments to Delivery Duty Unpaid (DDU) destinations, please be aware that your order may incur additional customs fees upon arrival in the destination country. These duties and taxes are not pre-paid by us, and you may need to hire a personal customs broker to manage customs clearance for your items.

    Order Confirmation:

11. Delivery & Shipping Limitations

Delivery Address:

When you place an order, it will be shipped to the delivery address you provide, unless you request a change before we dispatch it. If there is an error or omission in the address you have given us, please contact us immediately. We cannot be held responsible for deliveries made to incorrect addresses if they were provided by you.

Signature Requirement:

Please note that all deliveries require a signature upon receipt. As a result, we are unable to ship orders to PO Box addresses.

Estimated Delivery Times:

Estimated delivery times for various global locations are available on our website. These estimates are based on typical shipping durations but may vary due to factors such as the destination’s remoteness, customs processing times, and other logistical considerations.

Delivery Loss or Damage:

31. DHL Express Network Terms and Conditions of Carriage and Customs Operations (“T&C”)

These T&C apply to services provided by DHL Express in the delivery of Express Shipments for personal use.

Definitions:

  • Express Carrier: Within the Russian Federation, DHL Express is represented by DHL International AO and DHL Express OOO. They, along with third parties, deliver Express Shipments internationally and handle customs for these shipments.

  • Customs Broker: DHL Express OOO acts on behalf of the customs applicant and other interested parties for customs operations, adhering to Customs Union laws.

  • Express Shipment: Goods transported in express mode by any transportation means, tracked via www.dhl.ru, and delivered to the Consignee with a specific waybill within a predetermined or shortest possible time.

  • Shipper: A legal entity, typically an online store, that entrusts Express Shipments to the Express Carrier.

  • Consignee: An individual receiving the Express Shipment, as identified on the DHL Express waybill.

T&C Subject Matter:

  • Offer and Agreement: These T&C constitute a public offer, forming a consensual Delivery and Customs Operations Agreement between the Shipper/Consignee, Express Carrier, and Customs Broker.

  • Acceptance: By confirming acceptance on the Shipper’s website, the Consignee agrees on behalf of themselves and other parties to these T&C.

  • Requirements: The Express Carrier and Customs Broker can request necessary documents for delivery and customs, ensuring compliance with Russian legislation. Confidentiality of obtained information is paramount.

DHL Express Network Carriage Terms

  • Delivery: Shipments cannot be delivered to PO boxes or postal codes. Delivery to a central receiving area is considered delivery to the Consignee.

  • Inspection: DHL reserves the right to inspect shipments for safety, security, or regulatory reasons.

  • Liability: Liability is limited by international conventions or, in their absence, by specified per kilogram limits. For road transport within borders, the CMR convention limits apply.

  • Claims and Delays: Claims must be made within 30 days. DHL is not liable for indirect losses or delivery delays, except under specific Money Back Guarantee conditions.

  • Circumstances Beyond Control: DHL is not responsible for losses due to uncontrollable factors like natural disasters, war, or customs actions.
